Where Small Steps Leave a Big Imprint

At Tiny Hearts Sanctuary, every small step from our herd leaves a big imprint on the heart.

Our gentle herd of rescued miniature horses, micro donkeys, and a Nigerian goat invite you into their peaceful world—where healing happens naturally, and calmness becomes second nature.

Here, you can slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the magic of being connected to the herd. You’ll leave with a calmer mind, a lighter spirit, and a happier heart.

A Place of Peace and New Beginnings

Each member of our tiny herd has their own story—many arrived after facing hardship, and now live in a caring, loving environment where they enjoy freedom of choice.

Our animals aren’t heavily trained. Instead, they roam the property, follow a gentle daily routine, and show their natural curiosity and affection. With acres to explore, they often delight visitors with playful chases and joyful interactions.

Mindful, Natural Care

We believe in supporting the well-being of our herd with thoughtful, individualized care:

  • Nutrition with intention – A healthy diet with herbs when needed, always in moderation. Treats are limited to protect their health.

  • Room to roam – Large open spaces give them freedom to move, play, and socialize naturally.

  • Respect for their needs – We observe, listen, and respond to each animal’s choices.

The Healing Power of Equine Interactions

Horses have an incredible ability to mirror human emotions, offering comfort and insight.

When you are calm and centered, the right horse will naturally step forward to meet you. Sensitive and nonjudgmental, they create a space for trust, self-awareness, and emotional healing.

Your Time With the Herd May Include:

  • Petting and gentle brushing

  • Walking alongside them

  • Quietly sharing space in peaceful silence

These moments go beyond simple enjoyment—they help build resilience, calmness, and inner peace.
