Resiliency Workshops
Understanding stress is very important before you can learn how to be resilient.
As a person, our individual conditions, interactions in our environment, unique genetic composition, and manifestation of the deep meaning of life all impact our well-being.
Well-being is a sense of meaning and purpose that enables one to pursue self-defined aspirations with love, happiness, and freedom.
This 3-part series looks at the building blocks of resiliency, and although we would love you to take all three sessions, you can pick and choose.

If a cancellation is initiated by Connections With Nature, you will receive a full refund.
If a customer needs to cancel, we require at least 48 hours’ notice, as we keep our workshop groups intentionally small and each spot matters. In these cases, the deposit is non-refundable, but any remaining balance paid will be refunded.
In the case of an emergency, we understand that life happens—please contact us directly, and we’ll discuss options together.

Only during serious weather situations do we cancel. If it is raining, within reason, we continue the experience. We have precautions to help keep you from getting wet, but the rain itself is a magical experience in forest therapy. Disposable rain ponchos are available for sale in the Souvenir shop.

In the event of winter blizzards or severe rainstorms, we will cancel the event to avoid putting people at risk. However, we will not cancel for rain or snow, which is typical weather. The studio is 4-season, and we can arrange our schedule to accommodate the weather conditions.

When we think about stress, we think bad – tired, irritated, fearful. We rarely think about stress as a good thing, even essential. Most people need an edge of energy that comes with working hard to meet challenges and overcome obstacles. Stress can motivate and focus our efforts. When immersed in too much stress, it is difficult to 'see the forest for the trees".
This workshop intends to 'peel back those layers' so you can take control, create a plan to adapt, change, and/or reframe the stress.
The session is a deep dive into each person's source of stress and understanding how to break free from negativity. We will be utilizing the Stress Profile tool. Each participant will learn grounding, orienting, and resourcing techniques to become resilient with their own personal plan.
Time: 10 am – 2 pm (4-hour session) - Includes lunch
